Marathon
I have started running again. I guess the last time I really ran, was at Laporte during my exchange period at the USA. Last spring my friend joined a running school and I got interested about it too. I joined also and we ran a half marathon at the end of May. It was easier than I expected it to be. Encouraged from that experience I started to plan the real challenge, full marathon.
The same friend who got me back into running, is going to participate on Helsinki City Marathon in July. It’s a nice event, but I ended up having some other plans for the same weekend. Next best choice for seemed to be a smaller event at Kuopio. But when I was planning our trip around Europe, I got an idea about running the first marathon somewhere during the trip.
There is a big marathon event at Frankfurt am Main, Germany on 29th of October. There are about 15,000 participants! I was going to go through Frankfurt on the way to airport from Prague anyways. I guess now I just have to stop for little longer.
