Conference news
I have been working at the Centre for Wireless Communications(CWC), which is a research center at the University of Oulu. Well curently I am working at the telecommunication laboratory, but they are closely attached. CWC is organizing an IEEE conference(PIMRC’06) at Helsinki in September. Last summer we held a smaller workshop(IWCT’05) here at Oulu. I attended on some of the sessions and worked as technical assistant. My tasks were quite simple, making sure computer work, etc. I heard yeasterday that I get to go this year also. There should be lots of interesting presentations. I am very excited!
Looks like I am going to travel a lot in the near future. In August I’m going to Helsinki, just for fun. Then in september there is that conference and in October Maria and I are going to tour Europe. Where should I go in December? Plans for the trip in October are stabilizing by the way. It looks like it’s going to be Oulu – Tampere – London – (Eastbourne) – Prague – Frankfurt – Tampere – Oulu.
