Ruottinen meets World

Our plans for spring in Lithuania are starting to form quite nicely. It has been a struggle. There was a time, when my place at local university was uncertain, but Marias job seemed to form out nicely. And then there were times when it was other way around.

Finally everything looks very good. I’ve been accepted to Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and Maria has a job at UAB Fermentas. I will start studying at the university from February 6th. It will end some time in June. January 8th I will start a lithuanian language course at Vilnius University. It will last for three weeks.

We also found a very good tenant for our home in Oulu. Today we also agreed to take an appartment from Vilnius. We got it through our local friend. Her colleauge is renting us a brand new 47 sq. m. apartment which looks very nice. You can see some pictures below and location: . You can also take a look at some places at Vilnius. We have also bought the plane tickets. We’ll arrive to Vilnius on January 4th at 10:45. It’s nice to have couple days when we can take care of some official errands. Local bank account, tax stuff for Maria and permit of residence for both of us. That will get us going for a while.
