Ruottinen meets World

Our first Couch Surfing guests came from Germany. This nice Greek couple is living in Berlin and made a trip to Vilnius through Wasraw. We have once stayed at Prague few nights through Hospitality Club.

It has been rather interesting to follow the construction opposite from us. The working methods are sometimes quite dangerous. As you can see on the picture below.

Only one week after Pekka’s parents visited us my cousins came. And a few days later Pekka’s aunt and uncle, who lived in a hotel, well, we would have had a bit crouded if they had decided to stay at our place! We went to a basketball game in Kaunas with my cousins met also [...]

We made the last forest trip to the same lake as previously. This time we enjoyed our wild sauna and swimming in rather nice spring weather.

We got an unique change to visit the Lithuanian restoration centre. There we saw 200 years old clay pots that were restored. We also saw many different kinds of archeological findings that were cleaned and covered with some polymers to keep them safe from aging or braking. Wednesday The day passed by nicely with resting and visiting Akropolis. Thursday Early in the morning everyone got a hair cut. With new heads it was pleasant to visit Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. I have briefly visited there before. We ate at Gusto with Maria after here work.
